Brenda & Eddie- Building a Business One Graphic T-Shirt at a Time

Every company strives to be successful. Most don’t expect that to happen for the first couple of years. But after just a few short months, we are already finding success with Brenda and Eddie and Inspiration Nation. 

In today’s post we thought we would take some time to tell you more about Brenda and Eddie, who we are, what we do and our plans for the future. 

We asked Scott Orenstein, the driving force behind the brand,  why he thinks there's been such a positive reaction to Brenda and Eddie. Here's what he had to say: 

"We know that 95 percent of Americans own a t-shirt, and most wear them on a regular basis. The best t-shirts are not only comfortable and well made, but are also representative of the personality of the owner.  

Through our unique designs, Brenda and Eddie caters to those who want to express themselves creatively thru fashion. I believe what has made B&E successful so far is not only hard work and out of the box thinking, but also because we have made it fun.  

Every place I go I wear our t-shirts and ask people what they think. We engage with people on social media and listen to their feedback. It certainly hasn't  been a breeze as the hours are endless, but so is our passion"

For the first Inspiration Nation story, Scott partnered with Heather Mitts- a 3 time Olympic gold medalist for her role on the United States Women’s Soccer team, to create a limited edition t-shirt especially for her fans. 

B&E donated a portion of sales to Heather’s charity of choice- The Jillian Loyden Foundation. This charity was set up by Heather’s former teammate to help young people develop leadership qualities and to support and encourage them to persevere through hardships. 

Heather Mitt's Inspiration Nation story took off during the World Cup excitement and many t-shirts were sold. We also hosted multiple sweepstakes on social media that involved watches, soccer camp with Heather and t-shirt giveaways. 

Both Heather and Jillian helped rally their fans to sell t-shirts and raise money for the JL Foundation. Set against the backdrop of the World Cup, this was a great promotion that centered around the world of soccer. 

Where is Brenda & Eddie Going?

We plan to develop many more exciting and comfortable t-shirt designs and to continue raising awareness about Inspiration Nation with future community stars who our fans will relate to and embrace. And we will expand our presence and efforts to communicate and keep in touch with our fans through social media

Scott also wanted to share his thoughts on working with Heather and Inspiration Nation:

"It was an eye opening experience working with 3x Gold Medal Winner Heather Mitts and her friend Jillian Loyden. 

It was amazing to see the tremendous support their teammates showed for these ladies, and how much their fans love, support and respect them.   

Heather helped design a t-shirt and we were thrilled with the response we received from people not only in the US but all over the world. 

Heather is a true champion. She is an athlete, a business woman and new Mom to a beautiful son named Connor, for whom we made a one of a kind shirt to match Heather’s.”
